5 Chapman films won CINE Golden Eagle Awards: Breathe Life (Matthew Jekowsky, Carly Berryhill, Samantha Andre), Into the Silent Sea (Andrej Landin), Learning to Live (Katie Wise, Ashley Moradipour, Malina Fagan), Sikh Formaggio (Katie Wise, Devyn Bisson, Dan Duran), and Straight Down Low (Zach Wechter).
The 51st Student Academy Awards were handed out in London, with three Olympic-style medal placements announced in the shorts categories of animations, live-action and documentary. Dodge alum Aaron Johnson ’24, received the Silver Award for his documentary short “The 17 Percent.”
