Celebrating Pete Weitzner’s 20 Years of Service to Chapman University
May 1, 2017
Join us Monday, May 8 at 3 p.m. in the Folino Theater as we celebrate Pete Weitzner’s 20 years of service to Chapman University. Although he will continue to be affiliated with Chapman as an adjunct professor, Pete is moving on to a new position as editor of the Orange County Business Journal. At our celebration, we will be sharing thoughts about what a difference Pete has made at Chapman.
We are inviting everyone to contribute a page to a memory book for Pete. We are looking for photos and stories about the impact he has made on your life as your professor, advisor, mentor and/or friend. If you are interested in contributing to the book, please write/design a standard letter-size page (leave ¼” margins for printing) with whatever you want to say or share, including stories and/or photos and be sure to include your name on the page. Please submit your memory page prior to 12 p.m. noon on Monday, May 8.
We’re sure many of you have great memories to share about Chapman News, various classes you took with Pete, Networking in New York and DC or an internship he hooked you up with or a letter of recommendation he sent on your behalf—feel free to talk about what means the most to you when you think of Pete.
You can send a .pdf of your page to mediaarts@chapman.edu and we can print it to include in the book (please label your email “Page for Pete”).
There will be a reception on Stage A following the program.
