Chapman Showcase is an annual event where Dodge College travels to various cities to screen selected student films and engage with prospective students.

Guests enjoy access to admission representatives; networking with attending student filmmakers; and connecting with alumni, current students and prospective students.

This year, we’re travelling to three different cities:

The following student films have been selected to screen at Chapman Showcase 2019: 

GRENADINE
Director: Corentin Leroux (BFA/FP ’19)
Synopsis: Three brothers must learn to grow up in a world devoid of authority.

RELENTLESS
Director: Shelby Thompson (BFA/NWD ’19)
Synopsis: The comeback story of a young action sport athlete who seemingly lost everything after a freak accident turned him quadriplegic.

SEE YOU NEXT SUMMER

Producer: Marisa “Mo” Messina (BFA/CRPR ’19)
Cinematographer: Emily Tapanes (BFA/FP ’19)
Synopsis: Following the divorce of her parents, a young girl is sent to an all-girls summer camp for the first time where she comes to terms with her sexuality while trying to fit in with the girls of Cabin 5.

PREHEATED
Created by: Sarah Heinz (BFA/ DA ’19) and Luke Snedecor (BFA/ DA ’19)
Synopsis: A boy’s plan to bake a birthday cake becomes disastrous when his scientist father’s latest experiment gets added to the mix.

Screenings will be followed by a Q&A with attending student filmmakers.
