3 Chapman films screen this month at the Rhode Island Int”l Film Festival in Providence: Green Acres (James Beck), Sarah Through the Wall (Patrick Bosworth), andSit With Me (Melvin Chan).
The 51st Student Academy Awards were handed out in London, with three Olympic-style medal placements announced in the shorts categories of animations, live-action and documentary. Dodge alum Aaron Johnson ’24, received the Silver Award for his documentary short “The 17 Percent.”
Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts has secured the No. 4 spot in THE WRAP’s Top 50 film schools rankings. This is the college’s fifth year in a row at No. 4, a position it also holds in The Hollywood Reporter’s national rankings.
