It was a great weekend for the Narrative TV program as one of its student pilots, “Called To Serve”, won Best Drama honors at the prestigious 2013 International TV and Film Festival!

“Called To Serve” is the story of a young Mormon missionary going through a crisis of faith.  It was written by Michael Van Orden, a graduate directing student, and directed by Van Orden and James Delhauer, an undergraduate Narrative TV student.  You can read some of our coverage on the film’s production in our On-Location article.
