Madelyn Jarrett (TBJ ’07) was just promoted to weekend anchor at NBC affiliate  KGET Channel 17 in Bakersfield, CA, her hometown.  Maddie’s star is rising fast.  After graduation she landed a job as a reporter for an NBC affiliate in Montana.  Two years later, she was lured back to Bakersfield to be a reporter on the channel she grew up watching.  Now, she’ll be the weekend anchor.

What’s next for Maddie?  Maybe a regular anchor job Monday through Friday.  Maybe a major market like L.A.  Or maybe a job on one of the networks.  The sky’s the limit for this super-talented Chapman grad.
