Chapman Professor Kurt Eggert has been quoted prominently in a major Business Week story about predatory lending practices. Kurt’s scholarship in this area has led to invitations to testify before Congress on predatory lending issues and also resulted in him being named as a member of the Federal Reserve Board’s Advisory Council, where he chairs the subcommittee on Consumer Credit. Adjunct faculty member Anabella Bonfa has been honored at the prestigious California Legal Awards, where she received a mentorship award for 20 years of work mentoring fledgling lawyers.
