Professor Vernon Smith was the subject of an article in Bellingham Journal, entitled “Nobel laureate to give economic presentation at Western Washington University.” The article announces his visit to the campus to give a presentation titled, “The Housing Bubble that Engulfed the Economy, 1997-2006: Parallels with the 1920’s,” and details his many other achievements.
