Every year, the Chapman Law students bestow a “professor of the year” award on a member of the faculty.   In honor of the late Professor Darmer, who was beloved by the students and was an excellent classroom teacher, the Student Bar Association has voted to rename the award.  From this point forward it will be the “M. Katherine Baird Darmer Outstanding Professor of the Year Award.”

The professor of the year award was not presented at the Barrister’s Ball, as is customary.  The first ever M. Katherine Baird Darmer Outstanding Professor of the Year Award will be presented at the En Banc scheduled for April 20 at 5pm.  We hope everyone can make it to honor Professor Darmer and congratulate the recipient.
