On Wednesday, April 29 Chapman University held its third annual Alumni Entertainment Industry Mixer at Tiato Restaurant located in the Lionsgate Film Headquarters in Santa Monica. The event brought together not only Fowler School of Law alumni and faculty members, but also graduates of the Lawrence and Kristina Dodge College of Film and Media Arts and the George L. Argyros School of Business and Economics.

Akin Ceylan ’90, COO of Lionsgate’s Home Entertainment Group, kicked off the mixer by thanking the event’s organizers and attendees, as well as reminding the attendees of the importance of bringing the Chapman community and its values together.

The event provided alumni the opportunity to reconnect with classmates and faculty as well as make new connections with other industry members.

“It’s always great to run into old friends, classmates and colleagues,” said Mary Collins Myers (JD ’14). “I saw people that I interned with years ago in law school, and made new connections with creative alumni. I interned at Lionsgate for two summers in law school, and being in the building brought back memories and made me excited for the future.”
