Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law alumna Nikole Kingston (’05) ushered in the new year as one of the newest partners at O’Melveny & Myers LLP, a 700-lawyer firm with offices in the world’s major financial and political centers.
Kingston, who works in the firm’s Newport Beach office, joined O’Melveny & Myers in 2005, following her graduation from Chapman. She represents start-up, emerging growth, and Fortune 500 companies, as well as private equity firms, individual shareholders, owners, and principals in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Her work includes counseling companies with operations and interests in numerous industries, from health care and technology to general consumer products, often advising them on securities law compliance, public reporting, and general corporate governance. Kingston is also an active firm leader, serving on the Newport Beach Business Development, Camaraderie and Community Involvement, and Employment committees.
The partnership became effective January 1, 2017.
