April 19, 2017
Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law’s Cindy Park (JD ’18) has been recognized by the Orange County Asian American Bar Association (OCAABA) with the 2017 Outstanding Student Award.
OCAABA recognizes one student each year who has demonstrated significant contributions to the association as well as to the Orange County legal and Asian Pacific American communities.
Park is currently Fowler School of Law’s student liaison to OCAABA and the Orange County Korean American Bar Association (OCKABA). Next year she will serve as co-president of the law school’s Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA) and as senior symposium editor of the Chapman Law Review.
Cindy plans to pursue a career in civil litigation upon graduation and expects to remain actively involved in local bar associations. This summer she will work as a summer associate at Wood Smith Henning & Berman LLP.
Park will be honored at OCAABA’s 24th annual installation and awards gala on April 19, 2017.
