zeinab dabbahChapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law is pleased to welcome alumna Zeinab H. Dabbah, M.D. (JD ’12) as the newest member of its Board of Advisors.

Dr. Dabbah specializes in internal medicine and has her own law practice in Pasadena. Prior to earning her JD, she held various positions in the health care field, including senior medical director/regional vice president for Anthem Blue Cross and managing medical director of Blue Cross of California.

Dr. Dabbah also serves as vice chair of the Chapman University Board of Trustees; is a member of the Chapman University Academic Committee and Crean College of Health and Behavioral Science Leadership Council; and is a recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award, which honors alumni who achieve remarkable professional success and have made significant contributions benefitting communities across the nation and around the globe.

She looks forward to working closely with Dean Matt Parlow and the other members of the Board. “Dean Parlow brings an extraordinary level of energy, commitment, and vision to the Fowler School of Law. I am honored to be a part of the advisory council that will help him achieve his goals for this great law school,” she said.

Dr. Dabbah and her husband, Dr. Daniel Temianka, are active philanthropists who have been strong supporters of Chapman University and the Fowler School of Law; their contributions include a gift to name the Professor Frank J. Doti Lecture Hall in Kennedy Hall as well as an endowed music professorship and scholarship in memory of Daniel’s father, renowned musician Henri Temianka.

“Zeinab and Daniel are exemplary members of the Chapman Family who have shown their commitment to the university and to our community at large. I could not be more pleased to welcome Zeinab to the Fowler School of Law Board of Advisors,” said Dean Parlow.

Dr. Dabbah holds an M.D. from Cairo University Medical School and completed her residency at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center. She is a Certified Health Insurance Executive (CHIE) from America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP). She earned her JD, cum laude, with an emphasis certificate in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution from the Fowler School of Law.
