The spring competition season officially began for Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law’s competition boards last week at the National Professional Football Negotiation Competition in New Orleans, Louisiana. Two teams from Chapman – Scott Liebert (’17) and Spencer Shain (’18), and Jeffrey Farano (’17) and Weston O’Connor (’17) – were among the 29 teams from around the country invited to participate in the event. The competition is a simulated contract negotiation using real life scenarios and actual NFL free agents.

Judges included professional agents and representatives from national sports organizations. Farano and O’Connor finished in the semifinal rounds and received high compliments from the judges.

Congratulations to our hard working students!
