Dean John Eastman was quoted in an article in San Francisco Chronicle, entitled “Rights, arms and the man,” which discussed the recent United States Supreme Court decision overturning Washington DC’s handgun ban.  Dean Eastman found it ironic that the four dissenting justices relied on an interpretation of the framers’ original intent – when they don’t seem to care about original intent in so many other cases.  With this case, he quipped, “Everyone seems to be an originalist now.” Read article…
