Between the Los Angele Times and KABC radio, Professor Eggert has been all quoted all over the media since California and New York joined more than 40 0ther states in a settlement with banks that conducted abusive foreclosure practices, such as Bank of America Corp., JPMorgan Chase & Co., Ally Financial Inc., Citigroup, and Wells Fargo.

The Los Angeles Times quoted Professor Eggert on Feb. 11, 2012, in an article entitled, “California’s size lands state big share of foreclosure settlement.”  He said,”The servicers really needed California in this deal.”  Read the article here.

Professor Eggert was referenced the day prior in the Los Angeles Times article, “Mortgage settlement is also housing relief package.” Professor Eggert was cited in a San Francisco Chronicle article entitled, “Foreclosure Deal to Be Announced After Big States Sign On.”   He was also cited in a Bloomberg Businessweek article, “California, New York Push Foreclosure Accord to Completion.”  In addition, Professor Eggert was interviewed on February 13, 2012 on KABC Radio (AM790) during morning drive time, with host Doug McIntyre.
