During the weekend of October 3-4, 2014, two teams from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law competed in the Southwest Regional Thomas Tang Moot Court Competition in New Orleans, Louisiana. The teams included Arthur Arutyunyants (JD ‘15) and Nilofar Karbassi (JD ‘15); and Lindsay Niles (JD’ 16) and Jonathan Shin (JD ‘16). After two preliminary rounds, both Fowler Law teams advanced to the semifinals, unfortunately competing against each other. Arthur and Nilofar won their semi-final and final rounds. They will be advancing to the final competition on November 7-8, 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona. Lindsay and Jonathan won the Best Brief Award at the competition.
