Chapman University’s Leatherby Libraries are seeking applicants for a newly created STEM Librarian position.
Position Summary:
The STEM Librarian will provide leadership and guidance within the Leatherby Libraries and in partnership with faculty and other library subject specialists to integrate information resources, research methodologies, software tools, and data services in the STEM disciplines within the Fowler School of Engineering, Schmid College of Science and Technology, and Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences. The STEM Librarian will stay current with emerging areas in librarianship, such as Scholarly Communications, Open Access, Open Educational Resources, Data Literacy, and University DEI initiatives.
