Are you in the process of writing your thesis or dissertation? The Leatherby Libraries is excited to announce the dates for our workshop, “Submitting Your Thesis or Dissertation to the Library,” and a process flowchart to help make completing the final step of the thesis or dissertation journey easier: submitting it to the library.

Submitting Your Thesis or Dissertation to the Library Workshops

We have organized an in-person and virtual workshop to ensure all interested participants will be able to attend.*

  1. The In-Person Workshop will occur on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Leatherby Libraries Instruction Room 305. Refreshments will be served. Participants can register for this workshop here.
  2. The Virtual Workshop will take place on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. in the Leatherby Libraries Instruction Room 305. Participants can register for this workshop here.

Our Chair of Resources and Scholarly Communications, Kristin Laughtin-Dunker, will teach attendees about the procedures, required documents, and formatting standards that will allow for a submission process.

Topics covered in these workshops will include:

  • Checklists and fillable templates
  • Formatting requirements for dissertations and theses
  • Librarian review procedures
  • Submissions to Chapman University Digital Commons and ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global

At the end of the workshop, there will be time for a Q&A session.
