The Leatherby Libraries is pleased to offer access to the Indigenous Life in America database from Newsbank and Readex.

This database documents the experiences and impact of Indigenous Americans as recorded by the news media from 1690 to 2016. The primary sources in this collection offer an expansive window into centuries of Indigenous history as recorded in more than 17,500 American and global news sources.

This resource also complements other databases from Newsbank and Readex, such as Asian Life in America, Black Life in America, and Hispanic Life in America.
