Chapman University Passes 10 Million Downloads

The Leatherby Libraries is pleased to announce that Chapman University Digital Commons has reached a new milestone: 10 million cumulative downloads!

Launched in 2014, Chapman University Digital Commons is the university’s open access repository for the scholarship and creative activity of Chapman faculty, staff, and students. Over the past twelve years, it has made everything from faculty journal articles to university historical archival material to dissertations and undergraduate student work publicly available to readers in over 230 countries and territories without paywalls. As such, Chapman University Digital Commons plays an important role in disseminating our research to global audiences without barriers, boosting the impact and reach of Chapman scholars and their contributions.
