Want to boost your computer or AI literacy skills, or learn to use R or ArcGIS Pro? Spring workshops at the Leatherby Libraries will help you become more efficient in research, data management, and the use of AI tools.
Workshops are open to Chapman students, faculty, and staff and are offered both in person and online.

Workshop highlights
Explore tools you may have heard about, but never had time to try, like computer shortcuts, generative AI, R programming, or ArcGIS Pro.
Here are the current workshops running this March and April, covering varying themes:
Library and Computer Skills:
Learn four skills in one workshop! Discover how to make the most of resources on the library website, organize your computer file system, improve your searches with Boolean techniques, and increase efficiency with built-in computer tools.
AI Literacy:
These workshops equip you to integrate AI ethically into research, writing, and analysis. Discover how generative AI works, responsible use, and advanced prompting techniques. Once you grasp the fundamentals of AI, use advanced tools like Google Notebook LM to synthesize information from your notes or research papers.
