The Leatherby Libraries is pleased to announce that instructors can now assign content from Sage Campus in Canvas, providing another way to integrate these valuable, self-paced learning modules into class assignments.

Sage Campus is a valuable database of self-paced courses on critical skills and research methods for all stages of academic study. The courses range from 2 to 40 hours each and can be applied across all disciplines and stages of academic study, from undergraduate students to faculty researchers. Courses cover various topics, including navigating information and data literacy, research skills, data science skills, and getting published. Learner Pathways map out a series of courses, all focused on specific learning outcomes to build deeper knowledge over time.

Instructors now have two ways to assign complete courses or individual modules from Sage Campus to their students:

  1. As an assignment within Canvas
  2. By becoming a Course Assigner directly within the database.
