Summer in the Leatherby Libraries Keep cool with us!
July 3, 2019
Happy (almost) 4th of July, Panthers! The weather is heating up outside, but it’s nice and cool here inside the Leatherby Libraries. For those who are on campus this summer, whether for summer classes, research, or just visiting, the Leatherby Libraries is a fabulous place to stop by!
Our summer hours are:
Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday: 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.
While you’re here, there’s plenty to check out! Looking for some fantastic art? Check out the 6th Annual Chapman Staff Art Exhibition on the first floor, or The Border in the 2nd floor Doy and Dee Henley Reading Room, part of a yearlong series in partnership with the Department of Peace Studies, Escalette Art Collection, and the Provost’s Office.
Curious about Chapman University, Orange County, or US military history? Take a peek at our first floor displays on Filipino and Filipina Students at Chapman and the geography and history of Orange County, or come on down to the Center for American War Letters Archives to learn about the experience of WWII soldiers stationed in the Pacific.
Need inspiration for your summer reading? Peruse our newest titles, and browse our summer-themed Community of Readers display. Want to chat about what you’ve been reading? Join us for our Community of Readers to write reviews, talk about your summer reading, and win prizes.
Hope to see you keeping cool in the stacks this summer!
