The Special Collections and Archives Library has a newly curated display featuring Chapman University yearbooks* through history titled “The CEER Over Time.”

This display features a “selection of CEER yearbooks from the Chapman University Archives. Bold colors, graphics, and textures make each one unique. These books depict the school’s name changes from California Christian College (1918-1920, 1923-1934), to Chapman College (1934-1991), and finally to Chapman University (1991-present)—as the campus moved from Los Angeles to Orange, CA in 1954. The yearbook’s name is a play on the word ‘seer,’ or biblical prophet, using the first letter of the school name, C, instead of S.”

The display was created by Special Collections and Archives Assistant Victoria Perez. It is located on the library’s fourth floor and will remain up through the end of the 2022 Spring semester.
