They are available for use on a first come, first served basis – there is no need to ask the Circulation or Reference desks for permission
The Leatherby Libraries are celebrating Campus Pride Month through a new display case in the lobby! Highlighting novels that cover the LGBTQ community and decorated with flags for the different communities, the new display honors the community at Chapman. This year’s case includes a rainbow pride flag, as well as several other less well-known flags. these
400 Years of Mysticism: Selections from the Merle Bobzien Collection is one of the newest displays housed in the Frank Mt. Pleasant Library in Leatherby Libraries. This collection of sixteenth through nineteenth century books explores the topics of magic, sorcery, prophecies, witchcraft, apparitions, spirits, astrology, and physiognomy. Join us for a film screening of Prof. Jeff Cogan’s new film, Daniel Friederich, Luthier d’Art. The film profiles one of the world’s most renowned guitar builders. Daniel Friederich is considered by many to be the very best classical guitar luthier. His instruments are played by Pepe Romero, Scott Tennant, and many more world-class guitarists.
