August 1, 2019 – CUSP hosted their third annual APhA-ASP/CPhA formal. Their theme was “Golden Gala”. They celebrated the achievements and hard work of their members, faculty, and students. Simone Truong received P1 Member of the Year and Samantha Isidro received P2 Member of The Year for attending the most chapter events. Alexa Tuico, Farida Mossaad-Ahmed, and Tiffany Chuang received the Leadership Development Award for attending the most conferences. A special thank you to the keynote speaker, Dr. Michael Phan, for giving strong words of advice that motivated students to continue their professional journey as future pharmacists. Also thank you to the chapter advisors, Dr. Lawrence Brown, Dr. Albert Bach, and Dr. Sharon Xavioer for committing the time to educate and to provide endless support.
