Emmanuelle Swartzman, Pharm.D., received the Wayne Pittman Outstanding Service Award from the National Rho Chi Society at its Annual Meeting on March 21, 2026. This prestigious distinction is one of the Society’s highest honors, with Schwartzman recognized as only the second recipient in its history.

The A. Wayne Pittman Outstanding Service Award recognizes individuals who have made significant, sustained contributions to the Rho Chi Society and have profoundly advanced its vision and mission. Schwartzman’s impact spans both the local and national levels, reflecting a longstanding commitment to leadership, service, and excellence in pharmacy education.

A past President of the Rho Chi Society, Schwartzman has dedicated more than a decade of service in leadership roles, exemplifying the spirit of the award through her continued efforts to strengthen the organization and support the development of future pharmacy leaders. At Chapman University, Schwartzman serves as the Chair of Pharmacy Practice department.
