June 18, 2026
Jerika Lam, Pharm.D., professor of pharmacy practice at Chapman University School of Pharmacy, has been named a Fellow of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).
Lam is among the pharmacists honored with the title “Fellow” (FASHP) for 2026, in recognition of their excellence and significant contributions to the field of pharmacy practice. The 2026 Fellows were officially honored during a ceremony on June 16, 2026, at the ASHP Pharmacy Futures meeting in St. Louis.
The ASHP Practitioner Recognition Program recognizes pharmacists who have excelled in pharmacy practice and distinguished themselves through service and contributions to ASHP. Individuals who have achieved FASHP status have demonstrated sustained commitment and contributions to excellence in pharmacy practice for 10 years or more, contributed to the total body of knowledge in the field, shown active involvement and leadership in ASHP, and have been committed to educating practitioners and others.
Since the ASHP Practitioner Recognition Program’s inception in 1988, only an elite group of pharmacists have received this honor, making Lam’s recognition a significant achievement in the pharmacy profession.
At CUSP, faculty like Lam cultivate national leaders in pharmacy practice and education. The school had the highest phase 1 residency match rate in California this year, and its 2025 graduating class achieved a 93.7% first-time pass rate on the NAPLEX, exceeding both state and national averages.
