Chapman University School of Pharmacy is proud to report excellent results on the 2025 North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX), demonstrating CUSP’s commitment to excellence in education and practice.

Our 2025 Pharm.D. graduates achieved a 93.7% first-time pass rate on the NAPLEX, outperforming both California (86.7%) and national (86.8%) averages, placing Chapman pass rates at #2 in California and in the top 25 of all pharmacy schools and colleges in the United States.

While national pass rates also improved in 2025, Chapman’s performance exceeded these gains, demonstrating the effectiveness of our comprehensive approach to pharmacy education.

Strong Performance Across All Content Domains

The 2025 NAPLEX introduced new content domains, and our graduates excelled across all areas. 85.7% of Chapman graduates achieved “Meets” or “Exceeds” performance levels in Foundational Knowledge for Pharmacy Practice, compared to 80.7% nationally. Our students demonstrated strength in the Medication Use Process domain, with 82.5% meeting or exceeding competency standards.

Early Testing Results

Chapman graduates who tested within two months of graduation achieved a perfect 100% pass rate, while those testing between two and four months after graduation maintained an impressive 97.9% pass rate. This success reflects our curriculum’s preparation for immediate professional practice.
