Please join me in welcoming two new Sponsored Projects Analysts that will work within Schmid College and Crean College to support faculty and provide pre and post-award grant management within those units.

Nadia Hajjar, Sponsored Projects Analyst, Schmid College: Nadia has extensive experience with both pre and post-award grants management.  In her previous position at Northwestern University, she prepared and submitted approximately 40-50 proposals each fiscal year for the Center for Healthcare Studies under the Institute of Public Health and Medicine.  Nadia has in-depth knowledge related to multiple award mechanisms including training grants, fellowship grants, foundation funding, and industry agreements.  She has wonderful customer service skills and can assist PIs with everything from researching funding opportunities and helping portfolios grow to evaluating project budgets for reconciliation and closeout.

Kim Massie, Sponsored Projects Analyst, Crean College: Kim received her BS in Health Science from California State University, Fullerton, and is currently pursuing an EMBA.  With over 12 years of experience in health behavior research, most recently at the School of Community and Global Health for Claremont Graduate University, Kim’s experience with the full life cycle of funded projects provides in-depth insight into all aspects of grant operations, from inception to completion. She is adept in all facets of grant proposal submission, inclusive of budget preparation, post-award monitoring, and reporting. Her experience in overseeing the administrative and logistical functions of multiple federally funded projects has provided a strong background in budget/expenditure analyses, effort reporting, interpretation of applicable policies and procedures, report writing and grant closeouts.
