Please join the Office of Research in welcoming Megan Faulkner to Crean College of Health and Behavioral Sciences as our new Sponsored Project Analyst.  Megan received her BA in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) and has over 14 years of experience in human subjects health and development research centering on the prenatal through late adolescent period.  Most recently, she was responsible for managing the administrative, logistical, and personnel components of a large laboratory conducting multiple concurrent federally funded projects in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at UCI.  Megan has comprehensive knowledge of, and experience with the entire research process from initial funding application through final study close-out, and has managed the application process for proposals resulting in several multi-million-dollar federal awards.  She is adept at budget preparation, subcontract site coordination, grant application, monitoring post-award spending, interpretation and application of regulatory policies, and reporting.

As Crean College’s Sponsored Project Analyst, Megan will work with principal investigators, faculty, and staff to coordinate pre and post-award activities for grants and/or contracts.  Megan will split her time between the Orange and Rinker campuses.
