The first eight (8) months of FY 2018 (June 2017 – January 2018) have been very productive for Chapman faculty in obtaining sponsored projects from outside funding. To date, there has been $6.1 million from federal, local and state, foundations, and private businesses awarded to Chapman for various research and sponsored activities. The largest federal award to Chapman was granted during the time period by the National Institute on Aging for the research by Dr. Hillard Kaplan “Brain atrophy, cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s in low CVD-risk population.” Click here for a complete listing of FY 2018 awards to date.
