David Tyler, an undergraduate student in the School of Computational Sciences, took first prize in the Student Design Contest at the System-on-Chip Conference. Tyler tied for first place with a UCI Graduate Student, receiving a $500 cash prize for his project titled “Map the Network”. The contest was sponsored by the Orange County division of the IEEE.
