Microsoft MVP Awardees include Schmid College Alumnus

Hattan Shobokshi is recognized by Microsoft for outstanding work.
Schmid College of Science & Technology Alumnus Hattan Shobokshi (’01) received a special award from software giant Microsoft. The Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award recognizes exceptional community leaders worldwide who share their passion, technical expertise and real-world knowledge of Microsoft products with others.
Shobokshi was ecstatic to receive his award (only 4,000 awarded worldwide) and plans to continue his efforts in the community. Hattan shares from his blog, “I am also planning to blog more, learn more, contribute to conferences and developer events and ultimately helping as many developers as I can.”
Shobokshi is a Senior Software Engineer with a particular focus on web development using ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC. He works on a variety of platforms including desktop, web, and mobile devices. In the community, Shobokshi is an organizer and Co-Chairman of the Los Angeles .NET user group and regularly presents at local user groups and code camps.
