Celebrate World Water Day 2013 at Chapman University

Chapman University will be participating in World Water Day, the nationwide celebration of water conservation and sustainability.
Please join us this year to celebrate World Water Day on Friday, March 22, 2013. “Toilet to Tap Revisited” is the theme, which will cover the science, policy, and increasing need to reuse treated waste water as drinking water in Southern California.
The World Water Day event agenda includes various speaker sessions, which will take place from 2:00PM – 4:00PM in Beckman Hall, room 404. The featured speakers and topics include:
- CA’s Integrated Water Plan
- Kamyar Guivetchi, Manager, CA Department of Water Resources
- EPA’s Perspective
- Sally Gutierrez, Director, National Risk Management Lab, EPAOC’s Project
- William Hunt
- Executive Director, Orange County Water District
