Dr. Philip Zimbardo

Dr. Philip Zimbardo

Renowned psychologist Philip Zimbardo, PhD, will speak at Chapman University at noon on Thursday, February 20, 2014. We invite you to join us either on campus or online for his lecture, “My Journey from Creating Evil to Inspiring Heroism”.

In his lecture, Dr. Zimbardo will take the audience on a decades-long journey of research and experience: from his early years in the south Bronx, to his notorious Stanford Prison Experiment, and to his current quest to inspire everyday heroism through the Heroic Imagination Project.

Due to the popularity of this event and limited capacity, we will live-stream Dr. Zimbardo’s lecture, as well as have the recording available online afterward. If you are unable to find seating in the lecture venue, you may view the live stream of it in Argyros Forum 209C.

Philip Zimbardo is one of this country’s most distinguished living psychologists, having served as President of the American Psychological Association, designed and narrated the award winning 26-part PBS series, Discovering Psychology, and published more than 50 books and 400 articles and chapters.
