Dean Andrew Lyon’s Faculty Master Class:“Research at the Intersection of Soft Materials, Physics, and Wound Healing”We will discuss how obtaining a deep understanding of how to create synthetic and bio-synthetic materials that integrate with the human body can produce new approaches to healing wounds and regenerating tissues. The physics of the complex interplay between human tissues and foreign materials will be explored with the goal of advanced biointerfaces.
