From CalTech to Stony Brook – our graduates are going places!
Lena Buckendorf is heading to her first-choice dental school, the Dugoni School of Dentistry at the University of the Pacific. First, though, she’ll travel with Dr. Christopher Kim and several other students from his Kim Environmental Geochemistry (KEG) Lab to the international Goldschmidt Geochemistry Conference in Sacramento, CA in June 2014.
Ryan Burns plans to complete his Master of Science in Computational Science at Chapman, following the computational biology track.
Roeder Fletcher will be running his own marketing analytics firm after graduation, as well as working for Vizubi, a business intelligence reporting company headquartered in Vicenza, Italy.
Madeleine Haslam has secured a summer internship with an architecture firm in Salt Lake City. Then she is attending Columbia University for a one-year non-degree program studying architecture in New York and Paris, during which time she intends to apply to an architecture master’s program.
Tucker Holmes is applying to Chapman’s Master of Science in Computational and Data Sciences, with plans to focus on Biology and Bioinformatics. He is also doing a ten week summer internship at JPL, where he’ll work on software engineering for an earth science remote sensing project.
Kacey Krotz has been accepted and will attend Fuller Theological Seminary for her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology
Nathan Lawless was accepted into the PhD program in Mathematics at CalTech.
Kyle Lee was accepted to Stony Brook, where he will complete a PhD in theoretical physics, in the area of mathematical physics and string theory.
Kelly Mitchell was accepted to the USC Masters of Social Work program.
