One year ago, the Keck Center for Science and Engineering was dedicated with the promise of being an incredible home for our science and engineering students. Schmid College of Science and Technology and Fowler School of Engineering are grateful to the University and the 352 donors who made the Keck Center a reality for our students, faculty, and staff!

Since the opening, the Keck Center has helped propel the sciences at Chapman University! This past year, Chapman was recognized as an R2 level research institution and is now ranked #125 among the leading research universities in the United States.

Our students and faculty have enjoyed using the space for research, and also love to use it for fun gatherings

Even students outside of the Chapman community have utilized the building. This past summer, local community college students had the opportunity to participate in research as part of our Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Ecological and Environmental Sciences (SURFEES) Program.

We look forward to seeing all the research and activities that will take place inside the Keck Center this coming year.

Furthermore, we are excited to share more about all that is happening in the new Engineering Wing, home to our new Fowler School of Engineering, set to open Fall 2021.
