Georg Fischer LLC a major multinational manufacturer of thermoplastic piping systems and instrumentation, serving the microelectronics, water treatment, chemical processing, food and beverage and life sciences/institutional market segments, with revenues in excess of $ 3B is seeking a highly motivated individual to intern with our marketing/IT team. The position requires developing website content and support of web marketing campaigns. This position is responsible for implementation of new web content, improvement of existing content and integration of content from multiple sources. The Web Development intern will also utilize analytics to provide website improvement recommendations and identify potential digital marketing campaigns.

Skill sets and qualifications include:

Experience in web content development or computer science preferred
Experience with AJAX/REST service calls, and APIs
Experience with HTML5, PHP, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and jQuery Mobile
Java, Python, C++, or other programming language preferred
Experience with database and query language (SQL/TSQL)
Excellent communication oral and written, Interpersonal skills
Must have excellent technical problem solving skills
Sound judgment in analyzing and recommending solutions
2 years of education in a technical or computer science field
General computer skills including MS Office, Adobe CC etc.
