On August 21, The Art Department welcomed Freshman and Transfers to the program. The evening included introductions to faculty and fellow students, department tours, kiln fired pizza, and an insight into the department as a whole.
The idea of diving straight into several more years of education after four years of undergrad may not be enticing, whether due to other aspirations or simply feeling drained. Taking a gap year (or years) before graduate school can provide a refreshing change of pace. It’s an opportunity for students to venture beyond the confines
