Dr. Wendy Salmond, full time art professor, took part in the 43rd Annual Convention of the Association for Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies in Washington DC. The convention took place from November 17-20.  She was a discussant on the panel “Invoking Divine Authority: Russian Icon as Art and Symbol,” as well as a participant in the roundtable “Image vs. Text in Scholarship and the Classroom.”
