Austenalia: A Panel Discussion with Jane Austen-Related Authors, Feb. 15

In celebration of the 200th anniversary of the publication of Jane Austen’s first novel Sense and Sensibility, Dr. Lynda Hall, Assistant Professor of English and 19th Century British Literature scholar, will moderate a panel discussion of contemporary authors inspired by Jane Austen’s work. Authors include: Diana Birchall, Mrs. Darcy’s Dilemma; Karen Joy Fowler, The Jane Austen Book Club; Syrie James, The Lost Memoirs of Jane Austen; and Laurie Viera Rigler, Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict and Rude Awakenings of a Jane Austen Addict.
