Get to know our student workers Sierra Clibourne and Samantha Gonzalez
April 16, 2019
We now have two student workers in the Tech Hub ready to assist with instructional technology projects.
Sierra Clibourne
“Hello! I’m Sierra, a senior computer science major here at Chapman. In my free time, I love reading books and baking things (which I often bring into the office to have others try.) I’ve been working in Educational Technology Services since May, 2018. The Tech Hub has been such a rewarding place to work, as the projects are really meaningful and it’s easy to see your own impact on others. Our projects in attempting to get a modern LMS are especially impactful due to having seen frustrations with our current system permeate through all of my classes. It’s great to feel like you’re solving a wide-spread problem for the campus.”
Sam Gonzalez
“Hi! I am the newest Tech Hub student worker, Sam. I’m a junior computer science major with a game development minor. I’m expecting to graduate in Spring, 2020. Outside of school and work, I enjoy picking up new skills or hobbies such as painting, crocheting, sewing – anything that I can be hands on with. I also work on various projects building video games. Some have been in development for over 6 months now. While I am new at the Tech Hub, I’ve quickly come to enjoy the people I’ve gotten to meet across departments, especially in IS&T. I’ve also already learned a lot about data analytics since I’ve been working here. I look forward to see what else I will learn as I develop my skills here at the Tech Hub!”
The Tech Hub is located in DeMille Hall 104. During the summer, we are open from Monday – Thursday from 9am to 5pm.
