Dear Chapman Instructors and Staff,

The Educational Technology Services team is excited to introduce our 2024-2025 workshop series: Strategies for Student Success.  In alignment with Chapman’s five-year strategic plan, our workshops will focus on the student experience and how instructors can use Canvas and other educational technology tools to promote digital literacy, equitable access, and student success.

Join us via Zoom on Wednesdays from 11:00am to 11:30am, beginning on 9/11/24 and ending on 4/30/25.  Topics will include:

  • Being Student-Centered: Gain insights into tools like Qwickly Attendance, Respondus LockDown Browser, and Turnitin from the student’s perspective.
  • Enhancing Communication and Collaboration: Utilize Canvas features like Namecoach, Discussion Checkpoints, and Groups to facilitate meaningful conversations and foster student collaboration.
  • Integrating Technology: Learn how to use Zoom in a Chapman classroom and leverage Adobe Express to help students create engaging visual content.
