Meet Ryan Wong, MBA ’24! Ryan is completing his MBA with an emphasis in Strategic Management and Business Analytics. Ryan has a finance, economics, and technology management background and decided to pursue an MBA to improve his skills and expand his network across Northern and Southern California. 

Ryan’s Chapman Experience

Ryan’s experience has been an amazing one. He says, “My experience has been fruitful in gaining close friends, growing in my business fundamentals, and getting a chance to network with alumni.” Ryan mentions that his professors have helped support his business endeavors and grow his understanding of the material. Through his MBA program Ryan has developed his skills in machine learning and business fundamentals in accounting and marketing and learned strategies for job application. He has also developed his soft skills in networking, relationship building, and presentation skills.

Ryan’s Career Experience

Ryan worked in financial advising and planning for three years – two of those years at EP Wealth Advisors as a financial planning associate. He is currently interning at Profit Recovery Partners as a client success consultant. Ryan aspires to continue to acquire knowledge, build company strategy and grow his skill set. Ryan is passionate about using his skills to drive positive outcomes for clients, and he is excited about potential opportunities in consulting or business analytics.
