All Communication undergraduate students are welcome to meet with any of our advisors in the School of Communication. At least one advisor is available every day, Monday through Friday, during the fall and spring semesters. For quick questions, you can message Dr. Arleen Bejerano, Dr. Andrea Weber, and Mr. Ezequiel Jimenez directly on Microsoft Teams.

How to Meet with Your Advisor

Reach out to any advisor (Dr. Weber, Dr. Bejerano, or Mr. Jimenez) if you want:

  • To review your major program evaluation
  • To ask questions about your schedule (both short and long term)
  • Help researching minors or double majors that match your interests
  • Help planning your SoC courses
  • Help adding another Major, Minor, or Themed Inquiry
  • Assistance with GE courses, transfer credit, or general advising questions

Reach out to Dr. Weber or Dr. Bejerano if you want:

  • Study abroad approvals
  • To talk about internship opportunities
  • To find out more about future career paths.
  • Answers to articulation questions (transferring/taking courses at other institutions)

Reach out to Mr. Jimenez if you want:

  • To complete a Graduation Check
  • Discuss Probation Questions or Issues

  • All faculty appointments are held on Microsoft Teams (not Zoom).

  • Microsoft Teams is free with your Chapman credentials.

  • Download Teams before your appointment.

  • Be logged in during your appointment window — your advisor will start a video call.
