Each year, the Orange Unified School District (OUSD) welcomes student teachers from Chapman University’s Attallah College of Educational Studies (ACES) into its elementary and secondary classrooms. These student teachers are there to practice the skills they’ve learned as they prepare for careers as teachers, but they also provide substantial support to the schools in which they serve.

“Attallah College of Educational Studies contributes to the local Orange community through a variety of school based placements for its students in their teacher, school counselor and school psychologist preparation programs,” said Roxanne Greitz Miller, dean of Attallah College.

“Additionally, Attallah College’s faculty members contribute to Orange schools by providing consultative services and as faculty-in-residence.” Here’s a quick look at how many hours Chapman students contributed to OUSD schools in the 2023-24 school year.
