As the holidays approach, non-profit organizations located in the City of Orange, such as the Friendly Center and The Hub OC, are hosting a variety of food donation drives during this Thanksgiving season.

Friendly Center, a local non-profit, is conducting a food drive to support its mission of bringing stability, opportunity, and hope to children and families in poverty. The Full Shelves, Full Hearts food drive will be accepting donations of traditional Thanksgiving items, international pantry staples, and grocery gift cards on Monday, November 24th at 147 W. Rose Ave., Orange & 6688 Beach Blvd., Buena Park. For more information or to schedule a drop-off appointment, visit https://friendlycenter.org/thanksgiving/

The Hub OC is inviting community members to spread Thanksgiving warmth by making a donation, bringing food, or volunteering their time. A donation of any size can provide a meal for someone in need. For in-person donations, the Hub Resource Center and Youth Centers of Orange, are both providing Thanksgiving experiences on November 27th and November 21st.
